Ayana is the founder of Cooking with Ayana, LLC. Since 2017, she has been working towards becoming a full time entrepreneur, and as school comes to an end, her dreams are very close to becoming reality. The mission of her business is to show transitional aged foster youth how to cook for themselves. This relaunch of her business is very exciting, but Ayana needs better video equipment to produce higher quality videos. Ayana would deeply appreciate this support of her business - and of her dreams!
Ayana is 30 years old and lives in NY
Ayana is an amazing young woman who aged out of foster care in NYC. She has been living in her NYCHA apartment for 4 years now. She is currently working toward her Bachelors Degree, and plans to pursue her Graduate Degree in Social Work. She aspires to work in the child welfare system to help other children and young adults succeed. She is also an entrepreneur, starting businesses both to help foster youth and around her passion for cooking. She is a staunch advocate for youth in foster care, linking them to resources and assisting with things like resume writing and career planning.

Since you like to cook, consider some gumbo made with a black bean roux....that was one of Pam's favorites, although she loved any kind of seafood.
