City Living NYAyana is an amazing young woman who aged out of foster care in NYC. She has been living in her NYCHA apartment for 4 years now. She is currently working toward her Bachelors Degree, and plans to pursue her Graduate Degree in Social Work. She aspires to work in the child welfare system to help other children and young adults succeed. She is also an entrepreneur, starting businesses both to help foster youth and around her passion for cooking. She is a staunch advocate for youth in foster care, linking them to resources and assisting with things like resume writing and career planning.
Alyana has had a big year! She graduated college, all while being a wonderful mother to her adorable one year old son. We want to celebrate all of Aly's amazing accomplishments this year on her birthday. Please help us surprise Aly with a gift to make her big day extra special!
