In an effort to pursue her passion full time, Ayana is trying to upgrade her cookware to revamp her small business. Her goal is to help foster youth learn how to cook and benefit from the therapeutic value cooking can bring. By doing this, Ayana not only creates a beautiful community for others, she also creates one for herself. This time around, she wants to have the right equipment for the cause, to please help Ayana purchase an induction stovetop to aid in this revamp!
Ayana is 30 years old and lives in NY
Ayana is an amazing young woman who aged out of foster care in NYC. She has been living in her NYCHA apartment for 4 years now. She is currently working toward her Bachelors Degree, and plans to pursue her Graduate Degree in Social Work. She aspires to work in the child welfare system to help other children and young adults succeed. She is also an entrepreneur, starting businesses both to help foster youth and around her passion for cooking. She is a staunch advocate for youth in foster care, linking them to resources and assisting with things like resume writing and career planning.
