Her positive attitude and drive have helped her get through the foster care system, but she is extremely nervous about transitioning completely into adulthood. She is struggling as she is now transiting out, and she feels she doesn't have all the tools or support as she is getting ready to transition out of the foster care system. She working really hard to create a better life for herself and to be an example to other young people in care.
Mecca is a strong and resilient young lady. She is working part-time and she spends a lot of money on transportation to get back and head to work and it leaves her little to no money to budget for healthy foods. Mecca only has self-stable items that she is able to get from local food banks,
