A Laptop for Jennifer to help her succeed in school

Posted Aug 22, 2022
Jennifer is entering her final year of college and is on her way to earn her bachelor's degree in sociology. She plans to pursue graduate training in education or social work when she finishes her degree because she is committed to supporting the next generation of children, including her own. Jennifer has 2 children and is raising them on her own while working and attending school. Her laptop broke irreparably this summer and she cannot afford to purchase a new one. She is wishing for a laptop so that she can complete her course papers and homework in college.

Jennifer is 29 years old and lives in CA

Jennifer is a transfer student who is an extremely hard-working student and parent. She is a mom who provides for her five children--four sons and daughter. Jennifer is a Sociology Major with a passion for social justice and is dedicated to serving others. Jennifer has aspirations to become a lawyer or a social worker. Jennifer has a vivacious personality; she is resilient and is a positive person that is always willing to help others. She is very mature and serves as a role model to many of our incoming freshmen students.

"Dear One Simple Wish, Thank you so much for all your support this past year. I cannot believe you were able to help me get this amazing new computer. Classes began on Thursday and it means everything to me that I was able to have this computer to take notes and do my homework. It has been a super difficult year for me, but knowing that you amazing wish granters are out there keeps me going. THANK YOU Jennifer G. "
