Tavon and his twin brother Davon were removed from their biological family at birth. Weighing in at only 2 pounds each, and having been drug exposed in utero, they entered foster care and were adopted at 2 years old. Even though they were adopted young, they struggled with feeling loved and acceptance from their family. As they grew up, they made poor choices and went down the wrong paths, but eventually turned their lives around and are proud to call themselves survivors.

Tavon and his brother Davon are working their way through all 50 states and all US Territories, walking 20 miles in each, for foster care awareness and all the kids just like them who don't have a voice or anyone speaking up for them. They have a goal of eventually creating transitional housing for aged out youth and continuing to share their story to raise awareness and support for each and every kid in foster care. They need a bit of help getting to Guam to continue spreading their message and fighting for change.
