Z and her two daughters have been residing in a domestic violence shelter for over a year. This is the second Christmas they'll spend there. Z wants to provide her daughters with wonderful memories, despite the difficult circumstances. Her two-year-old loves playing with dolls and pretending to be a mommy. Z would be delighted to be able to put a doll set under the tree for her daughter this year.
Z is 24 years old and lives in NY
Z is a passionate young woman and a single mom to two sweet girls. Z has been living in a domestic violence shelter for nearly three months and has been homeless for almost one year. She has been diligently searching for work, which is made difficult by the curfew and strict rules at the shelter where she currently resides. She dreams of obtaining her High School Equivalency and moving into an apartment that she can call her own with her two daughters.
