CSULB - Guardian Scholars ProgramToria is currently a student CSLB and is looking to change majors, which has been stressful. Coming into the University she was a pre-film major and is now switching gears to women studies and now minoring in film. Her dream is to direct her own stories as well as stories that reflect low-income oppressed communities.
As a second job, Toria does deliveries to make ends meet. Currently her A/C is not operating, and she has a check engine light due to this faulty part. In order for her to pay bills in California’s hot weather she needs her car's AC to work and to safety do deliveries. This part is really what she needs to make sure her car is running, not overheating, and to keep her on the road for her second job.
