Ameenah is a young mother of a four-year old daughter, Keialah. Ameenah just recently experienced the loss of her step-father to cancer. This was really hard for the family to deal with, emotionally and financially as he was the primary provider. Ameenah lives in the home with her mother, her daughter and four siblings. Everyone has vowed to pitch in any way they can. Ameenah would like to get a laptop to assist her with her job search and studying for her GED so that she can eventually get a better job to assist with the family finances. Ameenah has been in and out of care but kept in touch with her family. She fought hard to keep her little girl and wants to provide a better life for her.
