Megan has experienced many losses and heartache in her lifetime. She has been in 8 placements since the removal, always hoping that her mother would find some way to bring her and her sister home. She had the internal battle, emotions of love and hate towards her mother. We have talked many times with the hope that she could understand that she can feel both ways. It is alright to love her mother because she is mom. The anger is ok because mom wasn’t the parent she was supposed to be. Megan is very intelligent. She has goals, but at times she is conflicted. Megan currently lives in her own apartment and has employment. She appreciates her job at WaWa but would like a more meaningful job. Megan’s goal is to attend vocational school or college to become a veterinarian assistant. Her loves of animals comes from the animals unconditional love. Through animals Megan may have found what she has been missing in her life.
