Jorge has experienced extensive trauma, instability, and unpredictability in all previous living environments. As he finally experiences a sense of stability, safety, and comfort, Jorge is beginning to step outside his comfort zone and explore new and healthier activities. He had previously been unable to enjoy “being a kid” and participating in fun activities, as he continuously focused on protecting himself and his younger sisters.
