Nyjeri has overcome some difficult obstacles already in his short life. He has not had a lot of support, and has had to learn to be self-sufficient. Nyjeri has dealt with a lot of moves and transitions. Due to this, he has worked hard at staying goal-focused in high school though not without its obstacles. Adjusting to new routines, Nyjeri has struggled. Recently though, he has found healthy, positive ways to cope with his triggers. He is working at becoming independent, and will receive his high school diploma this June. He has been accepted at the local university and is exploring a major in history or education. Nyjeri is taking control of the direction of his life and making really positive choices!
