Karai is a sweet girl who has the most impeccable imagination. She is currently placed in the home with her younger sister and two other children. Since she arrived at the placement the foster parents have been impressed by her artistic talents in writing, poetry and drawing. She states her writing helps her to go to a place that reminds her the world is a happy place. Karai recently won the "Young Writers Award" at her school and was honored for her ability to compose and narrate her short stories.
