Merri is a very intelligent, motivated young lady. She plans to attend college after high school in the hopes of obtaining a degree in journalism. She is also something of a food aficionado and has talked about starting a food blog. She stays very busy with after school activities like journalism Club and sports like soccer and volleyball. She is very close to her younger sister and brother, and she has a way of always seeing the best in other people even if she struggles to do the same for herself.
