Avery is a good student and is working hard at his new school to catch up and graduate from high school. Due to changes in placement and schooling he is behind educationally but always works hard to catch up. He is a keen reader and enjoys being outside exploring. He has suffered a lot of rejection in his life but has made positive bonds with carers and everyone enjoys spending time with him. His CASA volunteer describes Avery as friendly, personable, protective, hard working and kind.
