Makayla is a funny and active young lady who has overcome many obstacles in her life including being separated from her birth family and siblings, and experiencing multiple placements. Makayla recently was placed in a loving and supportive resource home and has made significant academic improvements. This past year she was able to be a part of her school’s basketball team, and she recently took an interest in photography. Makayla is very strong-willed and will grow up to be a successful adult no matter what obstacles stand in her way.
