From Heidy: "I went through a lot of foster homes. I had various experiences in every one some good and some I wish never happened. I started to lose sight of my future and felt stuck in the system I became depressed and didn't want to be around anybody. I was pushing the few friends I had away. I went through this for a while until I realized that nobody was going to help me unless I wanted help. Over time I was able to pick myself up again and open my self up to people who wanted to help me."
