Ericka has been working with CASA for many years and even though she is out of care CASA still works closely with Ericka and her family to ensure her success post-care. Ericka was adopted by her parents while in care and has been flourishing. She graduated high school and soon after started to attend SUNY for journalism. She realized reporting is her passion in life and has started to write articles and shoot reporting videos to develop her skills. She is even starting to get assigned work! Ericka just joined the CASA Youth Leadership Council to use her skills of public speaking to reform the system.
