Mya is a thoughtful and kind-hearted girl. Mya has a long history of trauma and neglect and only since living with in her current placement for the last 8 months, but in this time has already learned the concept of “being a kid.” It’s a statement not easily absorbed when you’ve never been given that opportunity.
