Daja's most challenging experience in foster care was developing the courage to open up and expose herself to what felt like complete strangers. She has never had someone other than her grandmother, who genuinely seemed to care about her well being. Her goals in life are to maintain a successful career in either sociology or healthcare, while pursuing her passion in dance. She would love to own her own dance studio one day where other youth such as herself can have the advantage on uniting through the art of dance.
