Jabez has been in multiple foster care homes in the last two years, but throughout all of the turmoil, he has stayed laser focused on his education at Malcolm X Shabazz High School. He is a stand-out high school senior who has won multiple awards and plays varsity baseball with his sites on attending college, becoming an entrepreneur, and playing in the Major Leagues. He has even been invited to visit Tennessee University as a potential college choice. Jabez has many accomplishments to point to, including being selected by the Malcolm X Shabazz BioGeo Chemistry Team to attend the largest school science fair in San Francisco, attending the 7th Blacks on Wall Street Forum to learn about business, and was recently nominated by his High School to be a part of the National Society of High School Scholars.
