Alexandrea was placed in foster care at 8 years old. While she was in care her life was incredibly unstable and really isolating. She still longed for a place where she could be recognized for her hard work and personal achievement. Her experience in foster care shaped her to be an independent, and achievement driven with a passion to help underrepresented groups.
