Santiago is very quiet and shy. He has had a difficult transition but is happy that he is in foster care with his sister. Santiago is currently dealing with some health issues related to his weight but is optimistic that he will be able to loose weight with daily exercise. Santiago's favorite subject in school is history. He finds himself lucky to be able to continue attending his same middle school.
