Shakayla is a warm and funny young woman who has just transferred from community college to a 4-year university. She is studying anthropology and working hard toward her goal of a becoming a lawyer, so she can help to advocate for children and families. New to campus this fall, Shakayla is making friends and finding her way. She is doing well in school and is looking forward to moving on towards more advanced classes and internships once she completes the core coursework for her major.
