Maria is an amazing young woman. She has experienced a lot of trauma in her life, including her parents being deported and leaving her in the United States alone with her young son. She is a fantastic mother, providing care and all necessities for her son while working on finishing high school. Maria is funny, intelligent, and a true pleasure to spend time with.
