Maria is so EXCITED about prom! A lot of her high school experience has been difficult, and she has been unable to participate in all of the fun activities. However, she would love to attend her senior prom in style! This gift will allow her to pick a special dress for her big day and experience for once what it is like to be a normal student in high school.

Maria is an amazing young woman. She has experienced a lot of trauma in her life, including her parents being deported and leaving her in the United States alone with her young son. She is a fantastic mother, providing care and all necessities for her son while working on finishing high school. Maria is funny, intelligent, and a true pleasure to spend time with.
