John is a bright young man who, despite all the obstacles thrown his way, has worked very hard in school and managed to be in Advanced Placement (AP) classes. When his father had a traumatic accident in 2021, his family almost lost everything. His mother is working hard to rebuild the life they used to have but has to focus on making ends meet instead of extracurriculars. John really enjoys working on his physical health, but his options are limited due to his family's financial struggles. Going to weekly MMA classes would not only give him a release from everything else going on in his life, but would provide him with a strong role model in the instructor.
