Michael's foster care journey was bumpy at times, but his perseverance saw him through to high school graduation, and now he's heading off to college in the fall. His passion for cooking, especially island cuisine, has been his source of joy and creativity. Michael dreams of becoming a chef and one day opening his own high-scale Caribbean restaurant, where he can share the vibrant flavors of his heritage with the world.
