Danika has worked hard to overcome abuse, domestic violence, and substance abuse. She recently celebrated one year of sobriety and has begun a journey of speaking on panels to advocate for change in the child welfare system. She has amazing drive and determination. Danika believes in building up those around her, knowing that the people you surround yourself with are a reflection of yourself, so the stronger they are, the stronger she will be. Danika has recently moved into her own apartment and is setting herself up for success. She has a lot of potential and works hard to see things through.
