Nyla, a student with great potential, has spent years in foster care after experiencing abuse and neglect. Her academic excellence in high school paved the way for her college journey. She is now in college, studying public policy. Nyla is passionate about using her major to decrease our country’s rate of maternal deaths in childbirth. She loves the color burgundy, reading, and listening to indie music, and her favorite foods are Korean and Mediterranean.
