At the age of nine, Teresa entered foster care. Throughout her time in the system, she was unable to achieve permanency and ultimately aged out of foster care upon turning eighteen. Despite the challenges of transitioning to independence, she has shown remarkable resilience and determination. Currently, Teresa is a full-time college student who has successfully completed her first year while managing her own living arrangements by renting a room. An artist at heart, she creates art as a form of therapy and has a passion for dancing.
