Kidada, 18 years old, CA
Kidada is a dedicated psychology major at Cal State, passionate about understanding and helping others navigate their trauma. Having spent several years in foster care due to her mother's struggles with addiction and the domestic disputes between her parents, she has developed a strong desire to support individuals facing similar challenges. In her free time, Kidada enjoys crocheting, sewing, and watching anime, all of which she finds both relaxing and creatively fulfilling. She currently lives with her mother, who has been sober for some time, and Kidada is focused on rebuilding their relationship and family life. Despite facing ongoing financial difficulties, including a recent eviction notice that CII is currently assisting them with, Kidada remains resilient and optimistic. She believes in the power of psychology to transform lives and is committed to using her experiences to guide others toward healing and hope.
