Brandon is a youth in the LifeSet program, a program that supports foster youth. Brandon participated in improving his living skills before transferring out of state care. He joined with the goal of bettering himself and increasing his opportunities, especially after a failed attempt to live with his biological mother. Since enrolling, he has connected with a housing program, obtained his permit, and is now on the waitlist for a welding program. Brandon is a sarcastic and headstrong young man who often challenges others to ensure they are doing what is right. He has learned to build trust with those around him, reassured by their support—a significant challenge he has faced in the past. In his downtime, Brandon enjoys riding his electric bike and playing video games on his PlayStation. He also likes to spend time with friends, playing basketball and cards. To continue pursuing his goals, such as purchasing a car, Brandon is eager to find employment while he waits to enroll in the welding program.
