Marie is a foster care alumna whose personality is marked by curiosity, resilience, and a strong sense of humor. She loves the color pistachio green, has a soft spot for cows, and finds peace in nature. Her hobbies include going to the gym, spending time outdoors, and drawing. She is naturally reflective and curious, with interests that stretch from the vastness of the ocean to deepening her relationship with God. Marie’s connection to foster care has been long and complex. She spent time in 12 group homes and 4 foster homes, and experienced two attempted adoptions that ultimately did not work out. Despite this high level of instability and repeated transitions, Marie continues to show strength, humor, and determination.
