Aylin and her family are refugees from Afghanistan. Fleeing a dangerous situation, her parents' only hope was to provide a better life for their children. Resettling to a new country is not easy, however, and young Aylin struggled to adapt to a new culture and a new language. Aylin is doing much better now, has made friends at school, and is doing well in her classes. Her favorite subject is math. When she is not in school, Aylin enjoys reading and fashion.
