Joseph experienced the loss of his mother at a young age and continues to carry her memory with him. He later entered foster care following unsuccessful reunification efforts with his father, who struggled with substance use. During that time, Joseph lived in multiple placements and often took on the caregiving role while with his father. He has participated in treatment services and has shown resilience while navigating the foster care system. Joseph is currently working toward obtaining his GED and is motivated to build a stable future for himself. He is especially talented in artwork and expresses himself creatively through his drawings. In his free time, Joseph enjoys playing video games, listening to music, riding his dirt bike, and learning new skills. He is determined, resourceful, and continues to take meaningful steps toward independence.
