Jaxon, 17 years old, MO

Jaxon often underestimates his own strength. Having lived in group and residential homes for much of his life, he hasn’t experienced full independence yet, and the thought of standing on his own can be overwhelming. He has supportive caseworkers and youth specialists, but without a traditional family, he sometimes wonders where he will find stability and what “home” really means for him. Despite these challenges, Jaxon is determined to move forward. He has big dreams, including plans for higher education, and he’s dedicated to making those dreams a reality. Jaxon knows that growing up will take courage and resilience, and he has plenty of both. With ongoing support and the right chances, he will continue to build his confidence and independence, working towards a future that truly represents his determination and inner strength.
