Scarlett is a kind, artistic, and thoughtful girl who loves creating art and expressing herself through creativity. She is currently enrolled in several programs with Children's Institute, including mental health support, to help her cope with the stress and trauma she has experienced. Scarlett has endured significant emotional challenges related to ICE involvement and the ongoing fear surrounding her mother’s immigration status. She has also witnessed her mother being abused by her father, which has added to her anxiety and sense of instability. Despite these hardships, Scarlett continues to show resilience, compassion, and a strong desire to grow. The support she is receiving is essential in helping her feel safe, understood, and empowered as she works through these experiences.
