Jamila is currently here in the U.S., navigating life on her own while her entire family lives in another country. As soon as she could, she enrolled in college, determined to pursue her education despite the challenges. Since she's not eligible for financial aid, she’s juggling her studies with work to pay for school. In her spare time, Jamila volunteers, finding joy in helping kids and hoping to build connections within her community. She also enjoys baking and exploring her passion for graphic art design, which allows her to express her creativity and share a piece of herself with others.
