Renee spent over 7 years in foster care, living in 9 different homes during that time. This instability was never easy, but she remained optimistic and focused on preparing for her future. After lots of hard work and self-advocacy, she is excited for the next steps. Renee says that being in care taught her strength, independence, and compassion, all of which she is carrying into this new chapter.
