Yo is an exceptional young woman who has been attending our school under the McKinney-Vento Act due to her mother losing her housing and having to move in with a family member. Despite the challenges her mother is currently facing, Yo remains cheerful, funny, and highly intelligent. She is on track to graduate early and is excited about attending college next year. Yo is kind and very respectful. Her teacher refers to her as her "star student" because she wishes all students could be as focused and driven as Yo.
