Makaila is a motivated and resilient young person who has been navigating the foster care system since early adolescence. She is currently enrolled in a dual achievement program at a technical college, where she is working toward completing her education while gaining valuable skills for her future. In addition to her studies, Makaila is also developing her own small business, showing initiative, creativity, and a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
