Mazlyn has faced a lot in her life, growing up in tough circumstances that included substance abuse and homelessness during her teenage years. Despite these challenges, she’s turned out to be an incredibly resilient and positive person. After going through a lot, including dealing with a schizoaffective disorder and the heartbreaking loss of her father to overdose, she found her footing in a treatment center and later a supportive group home. Now, she’s doing really well in her transitional housing program and has even graduated from McAllister. Mazlyn is known for her bubbly personality and her ability to connect with others; she brings a positive vibe wherever she goes. She loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s skating, riding her scooter, or learning to surf. Mazlyn is committed to her personal growth and is passionate about giving back to her community by donating to those in need. With the continued support of her team, she’s focused on becoming more independent and self-sufficient, and she’s determined to make the most of her future.
