Miranda has been in foster care for years. She is diagnosed with autism and is nonverbal, with a developmental age closer to 6–7 years old. These small routines help her feel safe and regulated. She shares a special bond with her older brother, and maintaining that connection is an important part of her life. Miranda also has a dedicated case manager who advocates strongly for her needs and wants to ensure she has opportunities to feel comforted, supported, and cared for.
