Amari entered foster care in 2020 after the loss of his birth mother to cancer. Although this change was unexpected and difficult, he has worked hard to make the best of his experience and continue moving forward in a way that would make his mother proud. He enjoys music and video games, which bring him comfort and joy during tough times.
