McKenzie, 27 years old, CO
McKenzie is a kind, funny, and grateful young woman who has faced a lot of loss in her life. She lost her mom as a teenager and her dad a few years later, and had to figure out adulthood mostly on her own. After her father passed, a distant cousin took her in until she was able to move into her college dorm. Even with everything she’s been through, McKenzie stayed focused and worked hard in school. She earned a degree in Forensic Science and is now working to find a job where she can use her skills and start building a stable future. Right now, she is focused on getting her life on track, finding meaningful work, and continuing to heal from past trauma. She also hopes to use her experiences to help others one day. McKenzie is strong, caring, and determined, and she is doing her best to keep moving forward and build the life she deserves.
