Kat is a young adult who aged out of the foster care system and is currently seeking to re-enter extended care due to an unstable housing situation. Despite the challenges she has faced, she continues to demonstrate resilience and determination as she works toward building a more stable future. Kat identifies her greatest strengths as her resilience, patience, and ability to advocate for herself. In her free time, she enjoys arts and crafts, reading, and learning about cars. She is passionate about helping others, which has inspired her to become a nurse.
