Sammy is a foster youth who despite facing significant adversity throughout her life, has demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination to build a brighter future for herself and her daughter. As a foster youth and young mother, she has overcome tremendous trauma and hardship, choosing not to let her past define her future. She is committed to breaking generational cycles and creating a stable, successful life for her family. Her greatest motivation is her daughter, who inspires her every day to pursue her education, make positive choices, and become the role model she never had growing up.
