Yzabella is a bright, motivated young woman who has overcome significant obstacles in her life. These challenges have resulted in her involvement with the Arizona Department of Child Safety and participation in the Young Adult Program. Despite the difficulties she has experienced, she remains focused on building a positive future for herself. One of her primary goals is to complete high school and pursue a career as a cosmetologist. She is actively working with her coach to develop her resume, strengthen her interview skills, and prepare for future employment opportunities through the supportive services available to her. She also wants the opportunity to experience the typical things many teenagers and young adults enjoy, while continuing to grow and become more independent. She enjoys planning, setting goals, and working toward the future she envisions for herself. Her willingness to plan ahead, set personal goals, and take steps toward achieving them demonstrates her determination, resilience, and desire to succeed.
