Miriam entered foster care at 17 after suffering from abuse, neglect, and housing instability, all while caring for her family at a young age. Adjusting to being cared for was difficult, but she moved into transitional housing and eventually secured her own place after experiencing homelessness. Despite these challenges, she has developed resilience and independence, enjoying activities like walking, listening to music, singing, dancing, playing video games, pottery, building LEGOs, and feeding ducks. Now, she's focused on creating a safe and comfortable home while pursuing her interests in psychology and the Bible.
